Reuben is focusing on advocating climate change equity. He believes empowering communities with renewable energy would address energy injustice in Africa. Reuben offers multi-functional expertise in project management, sustainable energy policy, PV solar engineering, infrastructure project finance, and data analysis. He combines a unique blend of engineering system thinking, policy analysis, project management, and international development to bring value to both not-for profit and profit driven organizations. He has a culturally diverse professional background with over 15 years engineering experience gained from Nigeria, England, Japan, and United States. From Europe to East Asia, Reuben worked on a wide swath of engineering projects from satellite propulsion systems, design of low Reynolds number air vehicle propellers to embedded system programming. Reuben holds a Ph.D. in computing & aeronautics engineering from Japan and two masters—aerospace engineering from England and energy policy from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
